 A mother is suing Justin Bieber for $9.2 million

Justin Bieber is facing a 9.2 million dollar lawsuit, after a woman who brought her daughter to one of his concerts claims that she suffered severe hearing damage as a result.
In addition to receiving hearing damage, Stacey Wilson Betts says that she now suffers from tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hyperacusis (sound sensitivity). While attending a Justin Bieber concert in July of 2010, Betts says that he created a “sound blast” when he hovered over the crowd in a floating steel gondola and asked his fans to scream for him. As amazing as that image is (floating steel gondola?!), Betts says that her hearing hasn’t been the same since.
In related news, I was recently staring at a Justin Bieber billboard advertisement, and I tripped over my untied shoelace. As a result, I will be suing Justin Bieber, and the rest of the world, for a bajillion dollars. Wish me luck.
