Lil' Wayne Bests Elvis Presley In Billboard Battle

Lil' Wayne Bests Elvis Presley In Billboard Battle

Lil' Wayne can now say he's bested Elvis Presley - at least when it comes to the number of times he's been on Billboard's hot 100.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Lil' Wayne's latest guest appearance on The Game's "Celebration" marked the 109th time he has appeared on the top list. Out of the 109 songs, 49 of them are Lil' Wayne tracks - the rest are guest appearances.
Presley has 108 songs on the list, which debuted in 1958. Arguably, if the list was started earlier, Elvis' total would be even higher.
Lil' Wayne still has a ways to go if he wants to be #1. The cast of Glee has the most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 with 204.
